 Born in Chicago, Illinois, Q. Sheree Smith earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Western Illinois University,
although very early in adulthood her career interests shifted to professional
sales and marketing. Formerly a top-producing real estate sales broker
and trainer, her desire to explore creative writing led her to Houston,
Texas’ renowned Rice University in 1993, where she studied the art
of fiction writing. |

Q. Sheree Smith’s published works include Kiss of Life, a tantalizing novel about a racially mixed couple, and On the Inside, a space vacation fantasy. Q is also a lyrical poet and her rhythmic verse includes the published and recorded piece, Ain’t Got No Time, as well as the published poems, One Man’s Spirit and That Woman. |
